Postdoctoral Fellows
We are looking for a postdoc with experimental research experience in thermal/thermochemical energy storage (packed bed reactors and high temperature energy systems) and materials characterization (microscopy, spectroscopy, crystallography) to work across multiple projects funded by the U.S. Department of Energy. Composite materials synthesis/fabrication experience is a plus, but not required. Contact Prof. Menon and send your CV if this description applies to you.
Graduate Students
We do not have any openings for graduate students for Fall 2024 (this will be updated for subsequent semesters).
In general, students with a background in thermo-fluids transport modeling and systems design, or with an interest in thermochemical energy storage (thermodynamics and kinetics) and desalination (thermal and membrane processes) are encouraged to apply to WERL. Contact Prof. Menon and send your CV if this description applies to you.
Undergraduate Students
We welcome motivated undergraduate students (juniors or seniors) with a background in mechanical engineering, materials science, chemical engineering, or chemistry. Contact Prof. Menon if you want to join our group to do research related to water and energy!
